Andrea Brezill joined the The Dermatology Institute of DuPage Medical Group in Hinsdale in October 2009, where she works closely with Dr. Alix Charles. She has a strong dermatology background gained through training and experience in the management of acne, psoriasis, eczema and skin neoplasms. She involves each patient in their health care by education and discussion of available treatment options.
Andrea is an integral part of our team providing excellence in dermatology through continuing education and training. She works with Dr. Charles to provide patients with the latest therapies and treatments with state-of-the-art equipment.
Andrea received her Bachelor’s degree from Purdue University in 2001 and her Master of Science degree in kinesiology from the University of Illinois in 2003. Following graduation from U of I, Andrea worked as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Downers Grove North High School, where she assisted in the management of sports related skin diseases such as contact dermatitis, fungal infections and impetigo. It was during this time Andrea decided to return to school to become a Physician Assistant. Andrea attended a 27 month post graduate Physician Assistant Program at Midwestern University where she earned a Master of Medical Science degree in 2008.
Andrea is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA).
