Steven Sigalove, M.D.

Dr. Steven Sigalove is a board-certified plastic surgeon specializing in plastic, reconstructive, cosmetic and hand surgery. He has a unique talent for listening to his patients, clarifying their goals, and explaining treatment options available to them. His love of plastic surgery and how it changes people’s lives can be felt during the consultation process, and his ability to envision potential results offers hope to his patients.

His clinical interests for aesthetic surgery include the face, breast, and body, and his interests in reconstructive surgery include the breast, chest wall, lower extremity, facial trauma and post-bariatric surgery. He performs hand surgery, including carpel tunnel decompression, trigger finger release and repairs of traumatic hand injuries. In addition, he provides non-surgical aesthetic procedures such as Juvederm®, Radiesse®, and Botox®.

Dr. Sigalove received his medical degree in 1997 from the Finch University of the Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago. He received his general surgery training at Rush Presbyterian Saint Luke’s Medical Center, where he also completed a hand surgery fellowship in 2001. He completed his residency in plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

He is one of only a handful of Illinois doctors to be on the clinical faculty for both Botox® and Radiesse®, and he was recently invited by Allergan, Inc., the producer of Botox®, Juvederm®, and Natrelle™ implants, to serve as an advisor/consultant for NOVO: National Council of Leaders in Breast Aesthetics.

Dr. Sigalove is currently the Chief of the Department of Surgery at Central DuPage Hospital; he is also affiliated with Good Samaritan and Edward Hospitals and is on staff at the Ambulatory Surgical Center of the DuPage Medical Group. He is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery, the American Society of Breast Surgeons, and the American Medical Society. In addition, he teaches Chicago-area medical students and residents at Midwestern University.
