Keratosis Pilaris

DMG Dermatology

Keratosis Pilaris is a common skin condition diagnosed in approximately 40% of the population. It is characterized by tiny flesh-colored to slightly red bumps on the skin, usually found on the outer areas of the upper arms, thighs, and cheeks, often referred to as “chicken skin.” It may occasionally become itchy. Keratosis Pilaris symptoms are often worse during the winter months, when skin will likely be the driest.
